Frequently Asked Questions
Is this club for non-Europeans?
Yes! This club is for everyone and anyone looking to experience the world of European Business.

How are you different from the other clubs at Duke?
Through EBS you'll gain the exposure and experience to decide if a career in Europe is right for you. You'll also work with a uniquely wide breadth of companies, from industries in Aerospace Manufacturing to Eco-Friendly Cosmetics. Furthermore, you'll interact directly with both established industry professionals and up-and-coming startups.

How much time will this take from my schedule?
Consultants are expected to give four hours per week to their projects, otherwise, there is no strict time commitment. The time you put into training will depend on your prior knowledge, and what you're looking to get out of EBS training.

Do we have to "rush"?
No. However, you must complete training and show a level of proficiency and professionalism to become an EBS consultant.

What does work on projects actually look like?
It will vary depending on the project. Some projects will involve lots of meetings with the higher ups at your client's firm, others will leave you very independent. In all cases however work will require teamwork with your dedicated project team, research, communication with your client and other relevant industry figures, and creative problem-solving.
